With TextEmail you can quickly and easily send SMS text
messages from any email application to any mobile phone,
and receive replies and delivery confirmations by return.
TextEmail: two product choices
1. A free-to-use service that enables any registered user to send text messages from any email system by sending an email to <phone-number>@<textanywhere-domain.net>. We receive the email, verify the user, extract the recipient(s), subject and message body and send out the message(s).
2. We also offer a chargeable service that seamlessly integrates within Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express by adding a “New SMS” button to your Outlook toolbar. This service enables you to send SMS text messages to members of your Microsoft Outlook address books as easily as you send email.
And with both TextEmail services the recipients of your
SMS text messages can reply back to you, with replies coming
directly back in to your “Inbox”, along with
confirmations that the SMS text messages were delivered
to the recipients’ mobile phones.

The standard TextEmail service that enables
you to send text messages from any email system is a free-to-use
service – you just pay for the messages that you send.
If, however, you would like the additional benefits of our
Outlook software there is a small, one-off fee.
Outlook plug-in –a
maximum of £25 per user
With our optional software for Outlook, you buy the application
once for each Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express user
who requires TextEmail. You don’t pay any additional
monthly or quarterly charges. The purchase costs are summarised
in the following table.

No monthly costs – just pay for the messages you send
Once you have purchased a copy of TextEmail for each user,
or you have opted to use the non-chargeable service, you
then just pay for the messages that you send. You don’t
even need to buy your messages in advance. As a business
client of ours, we will provide you with a credit account.
You just use the service as much or as little as you wish
and we’ll send you monthly invoices.
The ongoing cost of the service is simply down to the number
of messages sent by you over the course of each month. Volume
usage of the service and payment through Direct Debit attract
preferential commercial terms.
And a maximum message cost

To send a message to a UK mobile phone costs
a maximum of 10p (plus VAT) per message and drops significantly,
based on how many messages you send each month:

All messages are charged at the rate applicable to the total monthly message volume. So, for example, if you were to send 1,250 messages in one month, ALL messages would be charged at 7.5p, plus VAT.
All message pricing includes the Interconnect Fee (approximately 3.0p), payable to the receiving network operator (Vodafone, O2 etc.) for delivering your messages. This is now applicable for all UK operators and many other European operators too. This fee ensures that our messages are treated as First Class messages and are delivered as swiftly as they possibly can be.
To ensure we provide the highest quality of message delivery, we send all of our messages through UK operators.
An additional discount of 5% is applicable for accounts
that are settled by Direct Debit. All the above pricing
is exclusive of VAT.

And replies back in to your
Inbox are free
When a recipient of a text message that you sent from either
TextEmail service replies back to you, arriving in your
Inbox, there is no additional charge!
To start using either of the TextEmail
services you will need an account with us. Opening an account
with us is straightforward and requires a two-minute form
to be completed.
Once you have registered with us, your account will be opened
and you will be sent your account access details.
You can then login from the client area of this website,
in to your secure area. You and any other users that you
setup within your account will automatically have access
to the non-chargeable service.
If you would like to use the Outlook software, you just
give you and your colleagues TextEmail access, download
the application and it installs itself automatically within
your Microsoft Outlook environment.
So, to use the service, just follow these steps:

2. Receive your account access details by return
3. Login and set-up the users who will use TextEmail
4. Optionally purchase Outlook software for any users
5. Your Outlook software users receive download instructions
6. Once automatically installed, your users start sending
